Episode 13: Knowing Yourself Better to Elevate Your Leadership

Knowing Yourself Better to Elevate Your Leadership

with Kat Rippy

There is an endless supply of opportunities for leaders to learn and grow— conferences, development programs, books— you name it. Yet we rarely discuss why it is so critical, or what kinds of opportunities you should strategically be seeking out.

Many times, an organization or a leader selects a development program or opportunity and “sends” people through. That’s great – and when it happens to you, you should absolutely go if it is relevant to you. But what leaders don’t do often enough is strategically seek out opportunities to learn and grow that are relevant and of interest for where YOU are going.

Well, friends, your development is your fuel. It is what is going to get you to where you are going. You want to make sure you’re putting the right fuel in your tank, particularly since you do not have all the time in the world to spend learning and growing. You’re too busy DOING!

In this episode, we’re talking all about how to really get to know yourself better as well as getting the clarity you need to fuel your personal and professional growth plan.
