Your Seat at the Table

with Kat Rippy

Did you know one of the most important places for you to step IN to your leadership role is at the table?  In our years of working with leaders, we’ve noticed a significant gap in how they’re showing up at the table. Usually, development opportunities for such leaders are provided through “coaching on presence” or “public speaking workshops” or sometimes focus on improving their use of agendas and meeting management techniques. While all of the aforementioned tools are critical for mastering a group of people and accomplishing goals, what’s missing is the heart of what should be happening at the “table.”

Tune into this episode to hear more about the opportunities you’re missing at the table and how the table can alternatively become the scene of the unfortunate unwinding of your reputation.

Highlights of this episode include:

  • The significance of the “table” in winning at leadership
  • How what we do around the “table” can make a significant difference in the culture of your team and organization as a whole
  • What you don’t often hear from the other people at the table
